"Jesus
answered them, "have faith in God. I assure you that
whoever tells this hill to get up and throw itself in the
sea and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that he
says will happen; it will be done for him. For this reason
I tell you: when you pray and ask for something, believe that
you have received it, and you will be given whatever you ask
for."
I
really praise and thank our Lord God for His immense goodness,
for the gift of faith
and healing I enjoyed since I trusted Him as my Lord and savior.
Aside from healing all our infirmities, He had driven all
my fears away since for 9 years now that I experience His
healing touch that never fails.
Again
Jesus manifested His tremendous power to touch and to heal,
giving warmth and loving comfort to all who trusted in His
name. He does not want us to forget His miracles thus He allows
infirmities to happen to us or to our love ones. Yes, indeed
because it happened in my life. It was July 3, 2007 when a
certain call struck me telling me that my son, a third year
high school at Philippine Science Iloilo was admitted due
to sudden paralysis of his limbs. The doctors conducted all
preliminary laboratory tests but all findings were negative.
At first, I was frightened since the doctors suspected that
there is something wrong in his brain.
I
could barely imagine it thinking that my son will undergo
an operation just in case. However I remember His words from
the Bible in Psalm 112: 7, which says, "he is not afraid
of receiving bad news, his faith is strong and he trusts in
the Lord." Thus I turn unto the Lord and surrender every
thing to Him for I know that if I love and care for my son,
Jesus does the same and that I cannot outsmart Him. I remembered
that I'm only a steward to my son and I never own him not
even myself. Though I did not understand why he allowed all
those things to happen, I still faithfully thank and praise
Him for I trusted Him that much. All I know is that God causes
all things to work together for the good of those who love
Him. That time, I was in a prayer meeting and during the testimony
time I stand out and thank Him claiming in advance the healing
for my son. After the prayer meeting, I sought the help of
the healing team and we conducted an overnight prayer with
my son through the telephone for we believe that distance
is not a barrier to prayers. Praise the Lord for the following
day the left limb was moved. On that day also I proceeded
to Iloilo. While on my way, I ask the Lord to guide me what
to do and I entrust every thing that will happen in His hand.
Then I decided to bring my son home and had his CT- Scan here
in Bohol. Through God's grace we were able to reached here
in Bohol sound and safe. We went to a Neurologist to further
know the causes of infirmities of my son. The Neurologist
again suspected that there is something wrong in my son's
brain and he recommended having a CT-scan. I never felt any
fears and worries at that time. I fully trust the Lord that
he already healed my son. As my son went to the laboratory
for the CT-Scan, I whispered a prayer claiming that all the
result is negative. Jesus answered me quickly for the result
of the CT-Scan was negative.
Praise
the Lord! Jesus promises to heal and protects are indeed true
and trustworthy. My heart leaps for joy for the works of God's
healing is very evident enough as being projected in the result
of the CT-Scan though he was not yet able to move his right
limb but I had seen that Jesus started working miracles of
healing. I was delighted on the fathomless mercy of Jesus
and His great works. That day, I was predominated with the
great urge to extol God's name among people and in other way
around giving thanks to Jesus for His wondrous acts and great
love. My son and I went to Hanopol Balilihan, Bohol to serve
the Lord. I praise the Lord through giving testimonies, proclaiming
the good news that Jesus saves to all to will call and trust
His name. The following day, we went to Holy Spirit School
attending the prayer and fasting. Again I stood up praising
the Lord, claiming in advance that Jesus will surely touch
my son and give complete healing.
Indeed
Jesus hears my call after the prayer and fasting my son was
playing basketball. Praise the Lord! Alleluia! My son became
active and both limbs were functioning well. The miraculous
acts of Jesus were clearly manifested. My heart sings for
joy, my lips praises the name of Jesus for He never fails
those who will fully trust in His name. The following day
my son went back to school in Iloilo very active and happy,
receiving the grace of faith and healing from Jesus. I whispered
to Jesus some messages of thanks and prayers for He permitted
the said infirmities to my son for me to always feel His love
and His great works of healing. I will extend also my heartfelt
thanks to Sunday Post for the great privileged offered to
us to praise the name of Jesus through this column. May God
