Sandugo Festival to showcase
all-Boholano Streetdancing '08

As the traditional Sandugo Festival reaches its second decade, organizers of the streetdancing event doubles effort in featuring local talent at its best.
This was according to Baclayon Councilor Carmen Gatal, the committee chairperson.

Anchored on the theme Bol-anong Kultura, Kakugi ug Kinaiyahan, the choreography is expected to reflect Boholano heritage, culture, arts and traits, and of any foreign influences.

Special economic zone
soon to rise in Talibon

Municipal honchos in Talibon recently got the approval of the people of barangays Bagacay and Tanghaligue for the plan to develop a special economic zone in the two villages.

Talibon Mayor Juanario Item told the barangayfolk during the consultative meeting on June 9 and 10 that Governor Erico Aumentado had given him and Councilor Gerson Dulang a task to scout for a conducive site for a special economic zone (SEZ) project.
