lawyer elected to the presidency of PDP LABAN in Bohol way back in 2006 questioned
the position of former Alburquerque mayor Jose Ugdoracion Jr. as president of
party's Alburquerque municipal council and that of Provincial Board Member Cesar

Artemio Cabatos, who was elected president of PDP LABAN-Bohol Council in December
2006, said Ugdoracion's and Lopez's positions were "constructive but destructive

Justice
is indeed in bad shape in this country. While
the Department of Justice (DOJ) is busy dismissing cases against suspected drug
personalities, Pres. Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo just made sure a family friend named
after her father is appointed to the highest court of the land. The
DOJ of course has been quick to cry foul over the allegations and, to a certain
extent, it has a point when it wonders why it is being singled out. Granting that
there are anomalies at the DOJ, it does not exactly make the other agencies in
better shape. |
