GOV. Erico Aumentado has asked the Bohol Provincial Board to review the tax ordinance of Tagbilaran City and find out if indeed it had submitted the revenue code (RC) to the Board for approval.

The governor sought the review in the light of the certification of Board Secretary Bonifacio Quirog Jr. that "per records on file in our Legislative Tracking System, there is no Provincial Resolution approving City Ordinance No. RC-001 (AnOrdinance Enacting the Revenue Code of the City of Tagbilaran)."

Dr. Doloreich Dumaluan is at it again. About to reap the fruits of his folly, he desperately attempts to divert the issue by training his guns on the Post publisher. Foaming in the mouth, he went on air Tuesday as though he was the hunter, not the prey that he is to government agencies after his hide.

The issue in this case is plain and simple. Dumaluan failed to declare his true worth and for which he is now the object of an investigation by the Ombudsman. The issue is not the one who filed the complaint. It is his criminal act. FULL TEXT
